Scoops and Wood Chopping Video

3)If you enjoy the Deep Scoops Stretch then you may like to try the Wood Chopping stretch. This stretch has many of the same benefits of the Scooping exercise but with the added benefit of giving the spine a fuller, deeper range of motion.

If you still want to try the Wood Chopping pose but find it hard to do it in as far a range as I show then feel free to do it at a more shallow level. Go by the way your body feels. You do not want any pain involved it the motion. Just go to the edge of where you feel tightness. Never push a sretch to 100% of motion. Leave a little in reserve.
